Registration as UN supplier on UNGM

Finding ones way around as a potential supplier or provider of services in the procurement market of the United Nations system does not have to be difficult. UNGM provides several practical resources on how to do business with the United Nations. The following is a simple, step-by-step guide to on how to enter the UN market for goods and services.

To become a potential supplier for the United Nations, vendors generally have to register on UNGM, which is offered for free. To proceed, suppliers have to first of all go to the homepage www.ungm.org and refer to the ’Register as Supplier’ from the Top Menu.

The UNGM interactive guide for suppliers can help one with the different steps of registration as a supplier. Download it here

The UNGM is a registry of suppliers available to all UN and World Bank procurement personnel, and is the main supplier database of 20 UN organisations. Please note, however, that even though the UNGM is open to all procurement staff, some organisations do have their own supplier database. Therefore, it is important that potential suppliers also register with UN agencies that do not directly support the UNGM – those agencies are not selectable during the UNGM registration process. If an agency is not selectable on UNGM, please contact the agency directly.
